Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'confirm', then 'go to checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. You will receive confirmation of your order by email once we have received your order for processing.

We now have a minimum order value of £5.99 .
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. The rates on our currency converter are approximate and your credit card company will convert accurately at the time of the transaction.
We accept Visa ,Mastercard, Visa Debit, JCB, Solo, Visa Electron and Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone or securely via our website.

Should there be any queries about your order, we will contact you by email, therefore please take extra care when typing in your e mail address and insert a daytime telephone number so that we may contact you if necessary.
Shipping And Handling
Our delivery policy
As part of our customer service, your goods will be dispatched as soon as the payment is authorised, which is usually the same day or next day after the order is received.
Orders will be dispatched either by Courier or Royal Mail, depending on the size and weight. We are finding that some customers who work are preferring their order to be sent by Roayl mail, so that they can collect from the post office if they are out when delivery is attempted.
Lightweight orders up to 2kg from £4.99 . Please note that a signature will be required for courier deliveries and you may find it easier to have it delivered to a work address or a relatives address when you know they will be in. We no longer offer a special next day service via the Royal Mail.
Heavier orders over 2kg from £7.99 and are also sent via our courier. Our Courier delivery serves mainland UK. The heavier parcels are likely to be sent via our Courier is UPS. This means that most orders will be delivered on the next working day, however certain postcodes and the Highlands of Scotland will take 2 days as a minimum.
For UK heavier and larger orders, these will be sent by UPS COURIER - DELIVERY NEXT DAY - 9-5.30PM. All parcels will have to be signed for.Usually the parcel will be delivered between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday on a NEXT DAY SERVICE ( THIS IS THE DAY AFTER WE HAVE DISPATCHED IT) however, this cannot be guaranteed as there are factors beyond the control of Just Mackintosh. UPS DO NOT HAVE A DAILY DELIVERY SERVICE TO RURAL AREAS THEREFORE RURAL AREAS MAY BE 2 DAYS. IE HIGHLANDS OF SCOTLAND NORTHERN IRELAND AND ISLE OF MAN.
WE CAN ONLY HONOUR THIS DELIVERY POLICY WHEN ORDERS ARE RECEIVED BEFORE 1PM BST EACH DAY MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
Lightweight orders to anywhere outside the UK, will be sent by International Airmail rates.
Orders placed on a Friday - Please note..
If you place your order on a Friday it may not be dispatched until the Monday, this will depend on the time the order was placed. OUR COURIERS CHARGE £25.00 for Saturday delivery. If Saturday delivery is required we request that you ring us to make sure we will be able to get it to you on time. We can use the Royal Mail's Special delivery Saturday service for items under 2kg which guarantees delivery before 1pm on a Saturday.
We hope that our efforts will enhance customer's expectations of a fast & reliable delivery of their order, however we do use external commercial delivery couriers and Just Mackintosh cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control and as such, we will not refund shipping charges for late deliveries.
We would ask our customers to contact us if there are any unforseen delays on 01744 753377 so that we can iniatiate enquiries with our couriers directly. This is generally more effective and results in the customer receiving their package promptly.
Just Mackintosh reserve the right to elect the cheapest method of carriage when orders are placed from certain postcodes in the UK. This is because our couriers impose a surcharge for certain areas within the UK.
These are: ISLE OF MAN, NORTHERN IRELAND, OFF SHORE DESTINATIONS, HIGHLAND & ISLANDS. PLEASE CONTACT US IF UNSURE AS TO YOUR REQUIRED DESTINATION. THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE OF £10.00 FOR THE ISLE OF MAN AND NORTHERN IRELAND. IF THIS CHARGE IS APPLICABLE IT WILL BE ADDED ONTO YOUR INVOICE TOTAL BEFORE DISPATCH.
In the interests of being environmentally friendly, we do use recycled packaging materials where possible. This policy also helps to keep down packaging and shipping costs.
International Deliveries
For International deliveries, goods are sent by Royal Mail's Airmail International service. Customers will be given an option of paying extra for either Airsure delivery or International signed for delivery for certain items at checkout. Items are usually delivered within 3-5 days of posting within the EU. Deliveries to the USA & Canada can take up to 5-7 days from posting. Other destinations can take longer.
PLEASE NOTE- DELIVERY COSTS TO THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES WILL BE CALCULATED ONCE THE ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN E MAIL STATING HOW MUCH THE CARRIAGE WILL BE. YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT BE DEBITED UNTIL YOU HAVE AGREED THE COSTS INVOLVED. WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST PAYMENT BY INTERNATIONAL BANK TRANSFER WHEN APPROPRIATE. THANKYOU.

Delivery Schedule
Orders received up to 1pm on any weekday will be despatched on the same day if the items are in stock. Orders received after 1pm Friday will be processed on the next working day which will be Monday.
Our couriers do not collect on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays, therefore deliveries and collections are usually Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am & 5pm.
All orders must have credit card clearance before despatch can take place. When cheque clearance is required we will only despatch goods on confirmation of the clearance of the cheque from our bank. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
We reserve the right to decline orders where we have reason to believe that the order has been placed using details and information which does not validate with credit card companies records. We carry out thorough card checks on all our electronic transactions before goods are dispatched.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to advise either by telephone or email so that you can decide whether you wish us to place a backorder for you. You can cancel your order if you do not wish to wait. We aim to be able to get new stock in for most of our lines within 10 business days.
Tax Charges
For orders within the European Union, VAT @ 17.5% is included in the product prices shown.
Customers who order from and have their order delivered to a country outside the EU, will not be liable for VAT. The VAT element will be deducted at checkout.
Postage charges if appropriate will be added at the checkout stage and will be charged at either our standard rate or our courier rate depending on the destination.
If you live outside the EU, we would like to advise you that your order may be subject to your country's import duty and tax. We endeavour to keep carriage costs down for customers outside the EU. Due to the extra packaging required for sending long distances our postal charges include a handling fee.
All items dispatched to an address outside the EU will have a customs declaration on the outside of the package and marked 'mail order' or 'gift' - whichever is appropriate.
International customs reserve the right to open any parcel being imported into their country.
Just Mackintosh have no control over any general customs checking that may take place , however our international couriers assure us that where opening does occur, every effort is made to secure the article securely and back to the original state of packaging before checking occured. If there are any problems with the article for example damage on arrival then we advise that you contact us as instructed in our returns policy.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.
Your credit card details are not held in clear text on any web site. When your credit card details are decrypted we will process the payment using Streamline. As extra security for you our customer, the cardholders address will be checked against order details and at checkout you will be asked for the last 3 digits located in the signature strip on the back of your card.
Guarantee
We guarantee to always refund or replace faulty items if you are not satisfied with your purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Privacy Policy
Just Mackintosh do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).
Just Mackintosh conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.

Returns Policy
Consumer Protection ( Distance Selling ) Regulations 2000
Under United Kingdom Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of goods within seven days following the day of delivery. Should you choose to cancel your order, you can return the goods, at your own expense and you will receive a full refund of the cost of the goods. A refund for the purchase price will be made to your credit or debit card within 30 days of cancellation.
The customer will be liable for the return postage unless the goods are damaged or faulty upon receipt. The customer is responsible for any insurance charges and customs duty where appropriate. All goods must be returned in the original packaging. We advise our customers to send returned goods via recorded delivery. We cannot be held responsible for any goods that are posted without recorded delivery proof.
If we have sent your parcel out by any of our couriers and they cannot deliver after 2 attempts then they will return the item to us. The return postage charge is £7.99. This will be debited to the credit card given to us at the time of order.
If the wrong item is received against what was ordered, then we will exchange the goods quickly at no extra cost to you, the customer. This includes postage costs, provided that we are notified by email within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
Please note that certain conditions apply to the return of items puchased from our website or catalogue:-
We must be informed by telephone or e mail of any damaged item within 48 hours of delivery. We will then issue instructions as to the return of the item by return email.
All items must be in their original packaging and sent back using the method we state in the e mail. Any return products with a seal must be returned with the seal intact. We cannot be held responsible for items that are not returned by our specified method. We use the best packaging possible for your item and would hope that you item would arrive in perfect condition, however sometimes damages occur naturally in the post due to the nature of the Royal Mail. We endeavour to offer our customers the best customer service at all times.
Jewellery
Earrings cannot be returned for a refund unless they are proven to be faulty. This is due to Health & Hygiene reasons.

Payment will be made at the days exchange rate. All prices are displayed in UK pounds sterling.
