This chair is an exact replica of the one that Rennie Mackintosh designed for the Argyle Tea Rooms for Miss Cranston in 1897.

This is a licensed copy of the orginal as endorsed by The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery who own the original Rennie Mackintosh collection. Each chair is numbered and you will receive a unique ownership certificate from the manufacturer. It would be an elegant and distinctive addition to any home. Definately an antique of the future and as such represents a great investment.

Dimensions:- Height 136cm x 48cm wide at front edge and 47cm from front to back. The height of the seat is 46cm. Traditional drop in seat.

It is upholstered in a special with black fleck fabric and the seat is made especially for us to BS upholstery specifications.

Curved lattice back chair, ebonised ash frame.

This chair is an exact replica of the one that Rennie Mackintosh designed for the Willow tea rooms for Miss Cranston in 1904. As Rennie Mackintosh designed this for the cashier the seat lifts up were the money could be placed for security! Also the back of the chair represents a willow tree to reflect the name of the tea rooms. Rennie Mackintosh's alliance with nature in his designs is outstanding.

Mackintosh inspired square table - 'The Hill House Table'

Mackintosh inspired square table - exclusively made for Just Mackintosh.

This table was originally designed for the Hill House in Helensborough.

The table is stable and elegant and incorporates most of the features from Mackintosh's original design.

The legs taper towards the top and are placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the table sides.

There is a pierced decorative shelf over the diagonal stretchers at low level.

Mackintosh inspired table - 'The Kingsborough'

Mackintosh inspired table - We are delighted to offer this handmade solid teak table - exclusively made for Just Mackintosh - inspired by the design that Mackintosh originally created for Mrs Rouat at 14 Kingsborough Gardens, Glasgow in 1902.

The original was painted white, which was in its time, a break from stained wood finish.

This piece is a modern interpretation of the original.

The table top has two Rose inlay designs and each leg has a cut-out motif feature.

There is also a useful shelf under the table top.

Length = 95 cms or 37.5 inches

Depth = 50 cms or 19.5 inches

Height = 62 cms or 14.5 inches.
